Our Staff

Director's Vision

Bethesda Child Development Center provides an environment where children can thrive spiritually and academically in order to fulfill God's destiny and purpose for their lives.

We begin our journey in education with high quality care, academic training, music enrichment, and foreign language.  Along this journey we provide a safe and secure environment so each child can develop a love for God's Word and a desire to serve Him.

Bethesda's childcare staff has the unique opportunity to pray for families and to share the promises of God's Word.  As the needs within our community intensify, we at Bethesda have an even greater opportunity to share the love of Jesus.

I look forward to partnering with each family at Bethesda to help prepare your children for a bright future, full of opportunities to succeed.

In Christ,
Amy Lowe

Administrative Team

Bethesda Child Development Center's management team sets policy and diligently ensures that the center has the resources to offer a safe, efficient, and financially sound childcare center to the families that entrust their children to our care.  The center is an extension of Bethesda Community Church and its policies.  In addition, the center exceeds the requirements of the minimum standards of the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services.

Employees

Our employees follow a code of conduct, which includes modeling Christ-like behavior, treating the children with respect, using positive means of discipline, and providing a safe and challenging environment for the children.  Candidates that fulfill these prerequisites are considered as permanent staff members.  The Center's educational mandates are as follows:
  • Annual CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Extensive Pre-Service Training
  • Monthly staff training meetings
  • Minimum of 15 hours of continuous education per year
  • In-house training from the Director as follows: orientation and recurrent focused training on early childhood care, awareness and application training of Bethesda's higher standards of care, additional out-sourced training from Texas state recognized childhood care training centers
